The Book Quote Game
Yesterday at 9:21am

Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence along with these instructions in a note to your wall, and post your sentence in a comment here as well.
* Don’t dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual.

The above comes from Kay Day’s facebook page . . . and is perfect because I’ve been getting ready to go on vacation and have very little to say!
My book:  DREAMERS, by Angela Hunt (I know that’s cheesy, but it’s closest because it just came in!)
“This lad, when correctly harnessed, would pull more than his share of the workload.”
What’s yours?

    LOL – DREAMERS is right next to my chair also, because it just arrived in the mail! So the one under it is this:

    “If you have any problems, call Greg first, okay?”
    From On a Whim by Robin Jones Gunn.
    The 4th sentence would been way more applicable for me. “I’m not feeling well, so I’m going back to bed.” I AM sick in bed!

    The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie O’Martian

    My recommendation to all wives, especially those who are having a tough time in thier marriage, is to read this book. Then, make a commitment to pray for your husband daily. There are 30 specific prayers in this book and I always try to pray the corresponding prayer for the day of the month. I’ve found that these prayers help me be more intentional in the way I pray for my husband. One might think that this would get old, but I’ve experienced the opposite. On my own, I tend to forget all these different areas of battle. My prayer life, my love for my husband and my understanding of who I am in Christ have all grown through the lessons I’ve learned while praying these prayers and opening my heart to the Holy Spirit and His promptings.

    “It still wasn’t too late to back out.”
    Riven by Jerry Jenkins—Which is one of the two novels of his I can actually read! I think the Left-Behind books are silly, and most of his other books are about sports, so I can’t follow the plot. But Though None Go with Me is superb! And so is Riven! Fascinating!
