I’ve outlived Walter Reed. And he has a medical center named after him! (I don’t see any memorial buildings on my horizon!)

    I’ve outlived Narcissa Prentiss Whitman by two days. She was one of the first settlers in the West and victim of an Indian massacre of missionaries in 1847. She died by murder on November 29, 1847, 122 years before I was born.

    I’ve outlived Boris Trajkovski by three days. He was the president of Macedonia (1999-2004) awarded the World Methodist Peace Award for averting a civil war.

    The other ones listed were just about as obscure!
